Under general supervision, independently coordinate day-to-day scheduling and use of on-site buildings, rooms, and facilities. Position has extensive contacts with customers to ensure that logistics of events are made and completed on time.
This is an Hourly Part Time position averaging 16 hours per week to be determined at the time of hire.

Essential Tasks

  • Provides on-site coordination of event logistics, including audio/visual support; assures that physical details such as furniture arrangements are completed and supplies and media equipment are ready;
  • May perform clerical duties such as preparing mail, answering telephones, filing, completing data entry, and typing reports;
  • Perform related duties as required.

Ability to:
  • Work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends;
  • Provide customer service in a fast-paced work environment;
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities;
  • Respond to requests for information from students, staff and visitors;
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member;
  • Access a variety of computer programs;
  • Access files on computer and server;
  • Use Microsoft Office Suites proficiently;
  • Work effectively in a diverse work environment.

Qualifications

High school graduation or equivalent; six months of customer service experience.
