Sr. Examinations Program Manager

The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT), located in Columbus, Ohio, is recruiting for a Full-Time Sr. Examinations Program Manager.

The National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT or National Registry), a non-profit organization, serves as the National Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Certification organization. The mission of the National Registry is to provide a valid, uniform process to assess the knowledge and skills required for competent practice of EMS professionals throughout their careers, and to maintain a registry of certification status.

Job requirements mainly include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Project planning and management as it relates to item and test development
  • Performing content development processes and adhering to guidelines
  • Supporting the review and development of cognitive and/or psychomotor examination content with external stakeholders
  • Monitoring changes to EMS clinical practice and guidelines

Essential Skills and Competencies:

  • Effective written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to maintain positive internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks/demands and meet deadlines; demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills to work on concurrent processes and projects
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality

Education and Experience:

Bachelor s degree required; Masters degree preferred. Nationally Registered Paramedic certification required.

Experience working with EMS training/educational programs preferred.

Salary: $73,000.00 to $110,000.00 /year
