An esteemed religious organization, located in New Buffalo, NY, is seeking an Executive Assistant to support an innovative, progressive and respected Senior Executive. This role contributes to the success of the organization by providing general administrative support and ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation of the office. This position requires outstanding communication skills, ability to multitask and a track record of maintaining confidential information.

Hours: 10am-4pm with flexibilitySalary: Competitive salary and benefits, generous vacation and holidays.

Responsibilities

· Serve as right hand to Senior Executive

· Oversee and proactively manage calendar, answer telephone and e-mail/regular mail

· Prioritize and prepare for daily demands, include professional and personal needs

· Arrange travel, accommodation, itineraries, and all correspondence related to arrangements as needed.

· Manage executive schedule and acts as executive’s internal and external liaison

· Interface appropriately with many internal and external stakeholders, including strong partnership with Executive Director

· Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, memos and emails

· Interface appropriately with many internal/external team members, senior executives and a broad spectrum of community and stakeholders

· Schedule and prepare materials for meetings

· Conduct research and assist with special projects as needed

· Serve as back up for assistant to Executive Director

Qualifications/Requirements

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Must be highly organized, pays close attention to details and proactively follow-up.

· Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced and high-intensity work environment.

· Must have strong interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills. Must possess strong collaboration skills and an impeccable standard of excellence.

· Ability to change focus of work seamlessly without loss of efficiency, and adapting to unexpected requests.

· Takes accountability for actions and learns from mistakes to improve future performance.

· Proactive, creative and hands-on problem solver, that finds solutions before becoming issues

· Self-directed and able to work without supervision

· Must be able to flex schedule to meet work demands (ex. early mornings, after hours).

· Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas

· High School or GED Required. Associate’s Degree is preferred

· 1years of previous experience supporting an executive

· Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00 to $75,000.00 /year
