The Holiday Inn Atlanta Airport-North is located off of I-85 and Virginia Avenue just north of the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Our full service hotel is looking for Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our busy and professional team. Ideally, you ll have some prior experience in a restaurant management, be able to demonstrate initiative and be someone who has the reputation for delivering great service and being fun to work with.

The Food and Beverage Supervisor manages the operation of the restaurant, including food preparation and quality, to ensure hotel quality standards and revenue goals are met and food and supply costs are controlled. The Food and Beverage Supervisor will ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations concerning health, safety or other requirements.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work and establish performance and development goals for team members and knowledge of the IHG Brand C.A.S.H. program
  • Educate and train all team members in compliance with federal, state and local laws and safety regulations
  • Monitor budget and control expenses with focus on food, supplies and labor costs
  • Review daily assignments with your team to ensure successful meal service
  • Notify engineering of any maintenance and repair needs
  • Achieve and maintain C.A.S.H. standards for quality and guest satisfaction goals
  • Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest questions or requests to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction
  • Conduct proper food and supply inventory procedures to determine minimum and maximum stocks for all food, material and equipment
  • Ensure security and proper storage of food and beverage products, inventory and equipment and replenish supplies in a timely and efficient manner while minimizing waste

General Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree/higher education qualification in Hotel Management, culinary arts or related field preferred
  • Some college and/or advanced training in food and beverage management plus two years of related experience including supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ServSafe Certified
  • Must speak fluent English, Bilingual a plus

Work Environment
This job operates in a commercial hotel kitchen and restaurant, will be in extreme temperatures in the kitchen environment and will require the use of various kitchen tools and equipment. The cyclical fast-paced environment of a kitchen should be expected.
