We currently seek a full-time Full Container Load Development Manager. The location for this position is open to Vanguard USA Branch locations (ATL, CHI, HOU, LAX, MIA, NYC, SEA).

The Full Container Load Business Development Manager is accountable for developing the import services and sales strategy within the USA organization. Key areas of responsibility are Full Container sales strategy, targeted sales focus on Global Strategic Accounts, maintenance and communication of FCL Pricing Strategy.

Primary responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Lead an effective FCL sales strategy focused on sustainable growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with USA procurement on the operational and sales requirements for specific carriers/vendors
  • Create and deploy marketing materials and sales collateral for FCL product
  • Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships with the purpose of understanding market conditions and needs
  • Develop and analyze FCL Customer activity reports and provide insight to sales leadership on trends and opportunities
  • Collaborate with global pricing desk on the completion of global pricing bids/tenders.
  • Assist with FCL product innovations to stay ahead of the customer needs
  • Develop sales training materials and support sales efforts with joint calls and individual customer contact


  • Ten (10) years of Logistics Sales Development Experience
  • Five (5) years of Management FCL management strategies
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical skills and able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities
  • Highly proficient level of computer skills especially Excel and Outlook
  • Strong ability to challenge, review, adjust and execute strategic initiatives


Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Statistics or related field
