    Balfour Beatty Construction in Dallas, Texas is seeking an HRIS Analyst to join our team. The HRIS Analyst supports HR and benefit programs through data management and administration of HR systems. Provides reports, data, and analysis through various reporting tools. Is responsible for providing end-user support, program administration, and light technical support for all HR Systems. Responsible for administration and data management for HR Systems such as Performance Management, Learning, Recognition, Applicant Tracking, and Benefit Administration systems. Assists with the administration of national human resources and benefit services, initiatives, programs, best practices, research and documentation.

    Essential Functions

  • Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate system report writing tools. Designs and creates ad hoc reports as needed to respond to surveys and other data requests.
  • Responsible for ongoing system administration of internal and external data integration files.
  • Reviews and ensures accurate reporting and payment of premiums, invoices and all other benefit-related expenses.
  • Administer the LMS, ATS, Recognition, and Performance Management systems to support various HR programs.
  • Maintain HR s employee center site, assisting HR Managers to ensure policies, HR, and Benefit program documentation is up to date.
  • Research, analyze, and administer benefits related interfaces, to ensure file feed timeliness and accuracy; trouble shoot errors/issues and coordinate with IT and/or external vendors to resolve.
  • Audits employee enrollments for accuracy in vendor systems and for correct payroll deductions.
  • Provide reports and various data sets to support HR program initiatives including but not limited to AAP reporting, Vets, benefits, etc.
  • Assist with development of external integration files with third party vendor when necessary.
  • Support JDE Human Resources, Benefits and Payroll system applications.
  • Assist in the development of JDE reports/applications to fulfill business requirements.
  • Assess configuration opportunities to discover areas for improvements.
  • Communicate conceptual design and technical specifications.
  • Experience translating user requirements to functional specifications.
  • Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves moderate to complex issues reported by end-users via research, testing and scenario re-creation.
  • Acts as System Administrator and provides technical support and assistance to end-users to include: configures (as applicable) system components; enhances existing system components; designs scripts for new processes and/or components; maintains and troubleshoots technical system issues; consults with vendor(s) on system issues; and provides technical training as needed.
  • Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 3 years or more of HRIS, Business Analyst, or Programmer/Analyst experience required.
  • Advanced computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet, scanning, database and presentation communication software.
  • Demonstrates advanced proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools such as email, internet and Microsoft products (e.g. Word, Excel, Office, Outlook).
  • Preferred Requirements

  • A Bachelor s degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • Experience with JDEdwards HCM module - Payroll and Human Resources.
  • Analysis, design and configuration of JDE HCM module.
  • Prior experience with report writing and reporting tool knowledge ie: crystal reporting, reportsmith, etc is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of other ERP/HR systems including Talent Management, Applicant Tracking, and Learning Management systems is preferred.
  • Broad experience/exposure to various facets of Human resources including compensation and benefits, staffing and recruiting, training and development, employee relations, policy and procedures, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, gain support for, and deliver relevant reporting metrics.
  • Able to organize people, tools, equipment, and other resources and orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish desired results.
  • Uses time effectively on key priorities and to provide information to people in a timely manner.
  • Acts in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and the employees, while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations.

  • Experience with payroll in a multi-state environment.
  • Ability to collaborate well with all levels of personnel within the company.
