IT Data Analyst

Job Description : 

• Ensure data integrity and program accuracy through quality assurance activities, troubleshooting, testing, and reporting of system maintenance.
• Use processes and systems in place to transform and prepare data for production activities.
• Utilize systems to maintain and update T-SQL database as necessary for production and reporting
• Maintains confidentiality of data and programs
• Gather and document business functional requirements for technology solutions.
• Addresses internal data processing issues as required
• Research and understand industry best practices in technical and functional business areas in order to recommend & enable business processes, driving improvements in workflow and increasing business productivity. 

Required :

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or related area of study; or High School diploma or G.E.D. with commensurate experience
• 3-5 years of IT and/or business-related analyst/data experience
• Experience as project manager, business or systems analyst in a high visibility role working on technology projects
• Experience facilitating requirements gathering sessions
• Internal client-facing engagement/working relationships
• Strong process and analytical skills
• Defining and designing business processes and workflows across various stakeholders in the organization
• Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative problem-solving skills, ability to listen to and understand needs across diverse stakeholders at various levels of the organization
• Possess a strong understanding of T-SQL
• Strong knowledge and use of business analyst practices and processes
• Thorough understanding of business processes.
• Proficient in documenting work flows
• Knowledge and use of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Preferred :

• Experience being the business analyst on multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Industry experience: Transaction cards (Tcards)
