Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

  •  Manages day-to-day execution of the Incident Process.
  •  Facilitates service recovery and incident analysis; trigger problem record creation if deeper root cause analysis is needed
  •  Coordinates process involvement with other service management processes (e.g. Change Management, Problem Management, etc.)
  •  Facilitates adequate knowledge transfer from the developer/system integrator to ALDI.
  •  Creates and execute test cases and document results according to the test plan.
  •  Manages external service providers.
  •  Identifies recurring issues and develops suggested process improvements.
  •  Answers incoming support requests in a timely manner, following the proper processes and procedures for documenting and resolving issues.
  •  Provides support to users and contacts appropriate internal personnel or external vendors when further expertise is required.
  •  Assists with national and international projects, including documentation, training, and deployment.
  •  Performs testing and identifies potential issues in the applications.
  •  Participates in the overall maintenance of existing software solutions, including training and the deployment of changes and upgrades.
  •  Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader. 
  •  Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility. 
  •  Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  •  Bachelor's Degree in IT or a related field. 
  •  Experience finding application solutions, with the technical skills and drive to investigate issues and determine root cause.
  •  Experience monitoring and troubleshooting software releases, in order to meet business requirements. 
  •  Experience with Microsoft Excel (Advanced Skills).
  •  Experience with testing software releases.
  •  Experience with SAP applications, ideally SAP F&R (strongly preferred). 
  •  SQL and PowerShell experience developing scripts in order to drive process automation (preferred).
  •  A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.

  •  Works cooperatively and collaboratively within a group.
