HYVE SOLUTIONS is looking for a highly talented, detail-oriented and motivated individual with solid understanding of datacenter hardware and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment responsible for selling integration services; providing design services and engineering support to new customers with a key focus on customers that require hardware deployment for specific vertical markets. Verticals include: Social Media, Cloud Computing, Hosting, Medical, Entertainment, Financial, Storage and others.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervises and administers the daily activities of the Production Supervisors/Leads.
  • Analyzes product/process problems and develop solutions to the problems.
  • Develops and implements plans regarding capacity, materials, new products and labor requirements and cost reduction.
  • Controls inventory and workflow and determine the required personnel and man-hours to achieve production objectives and to meet delivery commitments.
  • Development of employees in Operations including training, achieving productivity standards, company policies and procedures, and annual performance reviews
  • Prepares periodic production reports of the plant operations and maintain updated operational standards and process sheets.
  • Meets with other managers to develop long and short-range plans, programs, and production objectives.
  • Reviews and improves first pass yield with Production Supervisors and engineering support.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and administration of production systems.
  • Plans and prepares department budgets.
  • Carries out employee relations policies as established by upper management and handles employee and employee relations problems.
  • Recommends the promotion, compensation, evaluation and/or termination of department personnel.
  • Assists with technology transfer assuring consistency of process and quality standards.
  • Work in a safe manner. Be conscious at all times of safety on the job by adhering to the established health & safety measures and practices of the company. Report workplace hazards and any violations of the relevant legislation to the employer.
  • Occasional travel may be required, as well as additional work after hours and/ or on weekends as required

Core competencies/ skills include communications, resource planning, analytics, leadership, organizational skills, planning and project management


  • Successful candidate will possess at least 10 years of Production experience /engineering experience and six to eight years Production management experience. Proficient in the use of personal computers. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Degree in Engineering, Business or a related discipline is preferred
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, Access and proficient in Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Experience in process development, re-engineering and quality control
  • Strong organizational, time-management and problem solving skills
