Use your marine expertise within an exciting industryDo you have experience with marine operations and vessel management? Are you looking for an opportunity to use such expertise on complex offshore wind projects? Tasks & responsibilities: You willcoordinate interfaces related to the offshore installation and service vessels during the project tendering and execution phase. You will be the point of contact between the internal project team and external stakeholders, this includes project meetings with clients, vessel providers and other contractors. It is important that you are updated on various vessels requirements and rules and regulations related to the marine scope, enabling you to come up with innovative ideas and input to new technologies and concepts. You will also be responsible for:
  • Coordination and follow-up on vessel inspections and vessel operations
  • Preparation and management of installation vessel tenders and support the commercial negotiation phase
  • Assess site and soil assessments based on met ocean and geotechnical data in respect to vessel workability
  • Assist construction and service functions to select vessels for installation and service assignment
  • Preparation of project specific deck layouts, seafastening guidelines
  • Reviewing of employer requirements and clients documentation related to the offshore logistics spread
Skills & experience: Our new colleaguehas good project management skills and a strong background in marine engineering and offshore operations. You have several years of experience within the offshore renewable or alternatively offshore oil and gas sector. As a person, you are a very flexible team player with a proactive approach and a self-driven attitude. Given the fact that you will have many different tasks at the same time, it is important that you can prioritise and keep the overview. We expect that you have/are:
  • An engineering degree, preferably in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience with structural design, such as seafastening and supporting structures
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office
  • Working knowledge of AutoCad or similar
  • Experience with preparation of specifications, budgets and contracts
  • Good technical and commercial understanding
  • Good understanding to validate new products and concepts
  • Excellent communication and English skills
  • Innovative and able to see new optimisation opportunities
