Marketing Analytics Manager

The Kraft Group – Foxborough, MA


As part of the Brand and Fan Experience department, the Customer Marketing System Manager will be responsible for driving strategic marketing opportunities and initiatives across multiple channels (including email, digital, social and direct mail). This person will maintain and optimize marketing automation, as well as drive campaign enablement and performance reporting. The role will be responsible for multiple concurrent projects under the guidance of the Director of Marketing or other business unit leads.


  • Serve as technical owner for marketing automation platform (Marketo), including management of direct report, and coordination with marketing and analytics teams
  • Identify strategic digital marketing opportunities, including personalization and automation strategies, one-to-one messaging, new channel integrations and customer journey building
  • Build and constantly improve companys email marketing strategy, test plans and overall program development, while creating new flows and campaigns
  • Define segmentation and audience groups based on behaviors to align messaging, and manage communication frequency and prioritization
  • Drive accuracy of client customer data, customer segmentation and targeted marketing, including category opt-ins/opt-outs, bouncebacks/unsubscribes and preference center management
  • Ensure client source system data is accurately flowing into the Customer Marketing System
  • Adhere to established data hygiene best practices and manage ad hoc list imports
  • Create and manage pre-canned reports, engagement trends and aggregate metrics
  • Educate internal marketing teams on how to best leverage digital marketing functionality, and maintain documentation and user training guides for all aspects of the marketing automation system
  • Liaise with analytics team on opportunities for data automation and advanced analytics projects
  • Support Digital Marketing team in creation of campaigns for internal brands
  • Consume sports and marketing content across other teams, leagues and brands
  • Special projects as business dictates


  • Degree or equivalent work experience in business, marketing, or quantitative reasoning (statistics, mathematics, economics)
  • Demonstrated success executing email and digital marketing campaigns with expertise using Marketo, including smart list development, campaign setup, testing, and reporting on campaign analytics
  • Experience in digital/email marketing, technology and database management
  • Experience as a power user/admin of Marketo or other Marketing Automation tool preferred
  • Strong skills in Excel, with proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a sense of ownership, willingness to learn, high degree of curiosity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility in working quickly and efficiently under pressure to handle shifting priorities
  • Detail and results oriented, with strong organizational and project management skills
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM, SQL, project management tools a plus
