Marketing Coordinator Positions Available

The All-American Bowl, the nations premier high school all-star game, owned and operated by NBC Sports, is seeking four marketing coordinators. The All-American Bowl features the top 100 high school senior football players live on network NBC, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX (January 4th, 2020).

Marketing Coordinators positions are seasonal employee positions within the Marketing Department of the All-American Bowl. These positions will focus on the marketing and operational aspects of the Jersey Presentation Tour as part of the Road to the All-American Bowl platform, which is a nationwide marketing initiative, in conjunction with the All-American Bowls corporate partners, to honor each All-American within their respective community. In this role, Marketing Coordinators will be responsible for operating events, along with increasing media exposure of the event and its corporate partners. The goal of the Tour is to integrate the All-American, their family and the community into the events.

This position requires extensive travel. After a two to three-week training period beginning in late September, Coordinators will embark on a two-month nationwide tour honoring each All-American athlete selected to play in the All-American Bowl. Upon completion of the Tour, members will be integrated into additional marketing events during December and into the All-American Bowl activities in San Antonio, TX in early January.


  • Manage Tour school assemblies and events, and oversee the scheduling, planning and logistics of events
  • Serve as Master of Ceremonies of Tour school assemblies and events
  • Develop community relations programs that result in engagement of local community for corporate sponsor events within the footprint of the All-Americans school
  • Handle national & local media press advisories and coordinate interviews/stories with media outlets
  • Uncover human interest stories surrounding All-Americans for use by national media outlets, to include the NBC broadcast of the All-American Bowl
  • Capture all event content, organizing, and potentially editing content (this includes photography, film, and social media content)
  • Maintain event metrics (ie: attendance, media exposure, etc.) for proof of performance to corporate partners


  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field
  • Familiarity with sport marketing and community outreach initiatives
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
  • Comfortable with public speaking
  • Experience with corporate social media accounts preferred
  • Commitment to working within the sport/entertainment industry
  • Willingness to travel
  • Valid Drivers License

Length of Work: Late September, 2019 Early January, 2020

Location: Northern New Jersey for training period (lodging provided by company in Rockway, NJ area). Assigned travel locations will vary for nationwide Tour period.

Hours: ~40 hours+ per week

Compensation: $1,500 per month (travel, lodging, meal, etc. expenses are covered by the company while traveling)
