The main objective of this role includes the ability to partner with the customer at the C-Suite level to strategically evaluate business opportunities and develop consumer-relevant marketing programs to address customer and brand marketing opportunities. Keys to success will be aligning and executing marketing programs in a way that positively impacts PepsiCo and customer brand equities, and drives sales and profitability. This role will develop leadership skills in key areas, such as collaboration and influencing through interaction with Senior Internal and External Leadership, cross-functional leadership and creative problem solving within customer team dynamics, dealing with ambiguity, and driving for results.
Key Skills/Experience Required:
Undergraduate degree (B.A. or B.S.) with 7-10 years of experience with consumer-packaged goods or foodservice industries; MBA with a concentration in Marketing is preferred
Prior customer marketing management/account management experience
Proven expertise in creative agency management, and ability to influence and mobilize cross-functional team members within a matrix environment
Prior experience leveraging consumer insights to develop effective marketing programs and campaigns
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills, and the ability to quickly establish rapport and credibility with key stakeholders
An analytic, strategic thinker who is self-confident, straightforward, flexible, and demonstrates a sense of urgency
Strong team leadership skills in addition to attention to detail to tactically deliver day to day work
Ability to effectively collaborate, communicate and influence in a matrix environment
Demonstrated capability in building customer and sales relationships by inspiring trust and excitement around shared goals
Professional maturity â ability to manage up/down/around, and strong interpersonal skills for interaction with internal and external senior leaders
Digital Agility â ability to deliver and elevate digital plans
Strong analytical skills
Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
