Marketing Manager

Agile Software and Marketing – Cameron Park, CA

Party Center Software is an online party booking software for the family entertainment center industry, located near Sacramento, CA. Our software improves revenue for family entertainment centers by allowing 24/7 access to party booking via our online portal and point-of-sale features. Our dynamic software also allows our customers to manage staff, upcoming events and orders, and gather waivers online. We serve family entertainment centers across the globe in a multitude of industries.

We are seeking a Marketing Manager to manage our marketing efforts and provide sales and admin support.

The ideal candidate is a team player that can manage an end-to-end, full and varied marketing program that includes designing and executing inbound campaigns, developing and managing lead generation initiatives, managing marketing automation tools, managing events, and managing our website. We are looking for a person with strong organizational and execution skills who is proactive and self-motivated.

This is a remote position with an option to work from our Cameron Park, CA office.



  • Work with sales and customer success teams to develop and implement annual marketing plans.

  • Monitor industry trends and best practices.

  • Develop ideas to improve PCSs marketing, selling, and customer success functions.


  • Produce at least one blog entry per week, ideally ramping up to 2-3 posts per week as the workload allows.

  • Produce one long-form content offer per month.

  • Produce one live webinar per month with an industry expert.

  • Manage the content production process from end-to-end, including designing or outsourcing design work, developing landing pages and calls to action in HubSpot, and promoting the content.

  • Maintain a content calendar and identify targeted keywords and topics at least three months in advance.


  • Produce the monthly PCS e-newsletter, including sourcing material and setting up and sending the email via HubSpot.

  • Track opens/clicks data and brainstorm methods to improve.


  • Engage with prospects via email and phone to build relationships and help move them through the buying process.

  • Develop, execute, and test lead nurturing workflows through HubSpot and come up with new and creative ways to keep prospects interested.

  • Manager buyer personas in HubSpot and update where appropriate.


  • Post status updates, grow the number of followers, engage with followers and thought leaders on Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus, and Facebook.

  • Develop and upload videos to YouTube and Vimeo.

  • Monitor all social media platforms.

  • Promote new content blogs, news, white papers, etc. through social media channels.


  • Manage our HubSpot websites, which includes posting blog entries, updating content, and developing new content as necessary.

  • Create new pages for content offers.

  • Develop graphics as necessary.

  • Track web performance using HubSpot and Google Analytics.


  • Maintain SEO best practices, including ensuring that meta description, titles, alt tags are all correct.

  • Identify keywords to target.

  • Manage and track our list of targeted keywords.


  • Research trade shows to attend and coordinate travel plans for the PCS sales and customer success teams.

  • Prep necessary brochures, flyers, business cards, pop-ups, and swag for trade shows.

  • Create email workflows and social media campaigns to market our attendance at events beforehand, and follow-up after.

  • Perform prep and follow-up work for speaking opportunities at events to engage the audience and generate leads.


  • Update HubSpot CRM system with contact information, especially from conferences and trade shows.

  • Follow-up on events and webinars, and send out additional resources to attendees post-events.

  • Target and research sources of new leads and make initial contact to generate leads for sales.

Desired Characteristics

  • B.A. degree and at least 5 years of marketing experience with experience working with teams

  • Project management skills, database marketing skills, and analytical skills

  • Comfortable working with minimal direction and taking ownership of all marketing activities

  • Genuine desire to educate and help business owners and staff in the Family Entertainment Center industry

  • 5-7 years experience running marketing campaigns, including email marketing, content marketing, etc.

  • Some experience with design, layout, and creation of marketing brochures, graphics, presentations, etc.

  • Extensive experience with HubSpot with the ability to manage our website, blog, workflows, sequences, tasks, dashboards, etc.

  • Demonstrated proficiencies in Microsoft Suite OR Google Drive, Photoshop/Illustrator (or other design tool)

  • Some HTML highly preferred.
