Marketing Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic, inquisitive, and accountable individual to work closely with our marketing agency to coordinate our brand and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate should be interested in getting hands-on marketing experience and in advancing his/her marketing skills, comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively with others as Marketing Manager.

In strategic partnership with our marketing agency, the Marketing Manager role will be responsible for expanding Everett Banks presence across multi-channel initiatives to build brand awareness and consideration and to drive engagement and deepen banking relationships. This position will partner closely with our advertising agency partners, responsible for coordinating all marketing efforts internally and with outside partners. This is a new role at Everett Bank, which means that the Marketing Manager will not only fulfill the requirements as outlined in this description, but will be encouraged to inform how the role can evolve.

The Bank is open to a flexible work schedule arrangement. Responsibilities:

  • Guided by our marketing agency partners, envision, build, design and optimize the annual, cross-channel marketing plan. Year over year, the Marketing Manager will help elevate our brand and marketing performance, building upon previous years efforts and learnings
  • Drive an audience-centric marketing approach, ensuring that messaging, content and campaign strategies are centered around customer buying needs
  • Develop a keen understanding of all bank offerings and ability to pair accordingly with key audiences that the Marketing Manager will help identify, across retail and business banking
  • Foster the brand positioning for the product portfolio by using competitive analysis and input
  • Actively engage and lead the planning and execution of bank-sponsored community events and activations, sometimes requiring weekend presence (planned for well in advance)
  • With the reporting and counsel of our Analytics partners at our agency, monitor marketing performance and optimize efforts based on data, insights, and market knowledge as reported and provided by the ad agency analytics team
  • Build a repository of agency-created templates that can be efficiently leveraged for quick-turn, opportunistic promotions and marketing efforts
  • Contribute to the overall development, growth and strategic direction of Everett Banks website presence in support of bank business objectives
  • Integrate digital with offline initiatives and marketing campaigns to provide an end-to-end experience that delights customers, deepens relationships, and drives positive brand sentiment
  • Requirements and Qualifications:


  • BA/BS degree required
  • Experience with web content management systems preferred; skills in photoshop, InDesign, photography, Google Analytics welcomed
  • Minimum of 2+ years professional, marketing/ad agency experience with demonstrated track record developing results-oriented marketing strategies (preferably in banking / financial environments)
  • Proven experience developing strategic cross-channel marketing plans for new initiatives including business case/rationale, development, budget management and go-to-market plans
  • Strong communication, verbal/written, relationship-building, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective partnerships across cross-functional teams at all levels (including C-level) within a tight-knit environment
  • Track record of successful and collaborative relationships with external partners and vendors
  • Project management experience and strong attention to detail in a multi-task environment
  • A data-driven mindset and an inquisitive interest in understanding program performance
  • Entrepreneurial spirit/ability to try different things with minimal direction
