As a Video Producer, you should be able to create and develop multimedia for corporate training, communications, marketing and other enterprise-wide projects. Youll be responsible for scripting, storyboarding, budgeting, allocating resources, setting deadlines and selecting optimal forms of media for corporate projects. You will also work independently, as well as part of a team to establish project deliverables. Youll collaborate closely with internal clients/stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SME s) to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content. You will be responsible for: planning shoots, scouting/selecting/reserving shoot locations, developing a production schedule, selecting and/or hiring additional crew, selecting and/or hiring talent, directing and coaching talent, reserving and/or renting equipment, making transportation arrangements for crew, talent and/or equipment, and ensuring all location power needs are met. Youll also record and edit video and sound projects. Tasks include selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management and archiving project media.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Includes selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing footage, organizing raw media, editing footage, inserting graphics and animations, titling, adding music/voice-over/sfx, media management, and archiving.
  • Creates still and motion graphics for video and other multimedia projects using Adobe After Effects. Types include, but are not limited to: logos, titles, opening/closing sequences, chroma key/green screen compositing, and working with objects in 2D/3D space.
  • Includes, but not limited to: developing the concept, deciding what form of media to be used, scripting, storyboarding, budgeting, allocation of additional resources, and setting deadlines. Will also need to manage multiple deadlines. Project complexity varies from project to project. Will need to work independently and as part of a team to establish project deliverables.
  • Works closely with clients/stakeholders, and Subject Matter Experts (SME s) to help facilitate the creation of the content. Presents options based on desired deliverables. Develops a project timeline and communicates the project status with the clients/stakeholders throughout the duration of the project.
  • Includes, but not limited to: planning the shoot/recording, storyboarding, developing a production schedule, scouting/selecting/reserving shoot locations, selecting and/or hiring additional crew, selecting and/or hiring talent, communicating wardrobe
  • Includes selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing sound files, editing content, adding music/sfx, mixing, equalizing, media management, and archiving.
  • Producers will be expected to have strong, collaborative skills. Collaboration amongst team members, clients and stakeholders is a daily requirement. Producers will also need to develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with Creative Services and Marketing. Collaboration includes, but is not limited to: brainstorming ideas for specific projects, sharing knowledge, (tips and tricks, best practices) learning and working within brand guidelines, as well as maintaining an awareness of Marketing initiatives/campaigns
  • Roles include Producer, Director, Camera Operator, Sound, Lighting, Production Assistant, and Talent. Will need to work with/coach actors if in Director role.
  • Basic understanding of industry standard codecs and compression methods.

  • Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum 2+ years professional experience in Radio, Television, Film, Sound, New Media, etc. in a corporate environment.
  • Sound: Small format mixers, compression, EQ, effects processors, audio recording techniques for studio and field, multi-track and waveform editing.
  • Video: Professional cameras (Sony PMW-F3 or similar), Prosumer camcorders (Sony HXRNX3 or similar), various HD and SD formats, preproduction/planning, studio and field production, lighting/grip, scriptwriting, storyboarding, photography.
  • Post Production: Digital video editing, still and motion graphics design, video compression for web and DVD delivery.
  • Applications: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe AfterEffects, Adobe Illustrator, Apple Final Cut Pro, Apple Motion, Apple DVD Studio Pro, Apple Compressor, Apple Soundtrack Pro, Digidesign Pro Tools, Efficiency in Mac and Windows environments.
  • Must be able to travel locally (possibly one time a month), domestically, and internationally on an as-needed basis.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written skills, must be detail-oriented.
  • Must be able to contribute to and thrive in a team environment.
  • Must be able to lift moderately heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Must be able to setup, tear down, store, and transport equipment
