Municipal Court Administrators plan, manage, and direct a division within the Phoenix Municipal Court. General responsibilities may include case flow analysis, records, jury, budget and accounting, public relations, and personnel management, including the selection, training, evaluation and corrective action of non-judicial staff. This position is also responsible to design and implement comprehensive business systems, participate in long-range planning and program development, and interact with the public and the media on potentially sensitive issues. We currently have vacancies in two divisions: Audit & Support and Customer Service.
Incumbents in this role will mentor supervisors and managers towards a continuous improvement culture that fosters daily improvement involving all team members. The position requires the ability to continuously improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service. The successful candidate will have well developed competencies in complex decision making, effective communication, personal & interpersonal skills, and managing projects. The incumbent must be able to develop credibility quickly with all levels of the organization and build meaningful business relationships that ensures success.
Work is performed under the direction of the Chief Presiding Judge or the Executive Court Administrator, with considerable initiative and independent judgment within the framework of Court policy guidelines. Incumbents in this job may rotate between divisions while maintaining a high degree of proficiency in assigned program responsibility.

Up to $118,995 annually. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. The City contributes 8.5% of salary into 457/401(a) plans with no matching required. $3,360/annual car allowance and $1,200/annual cell phone allowance.
