Salary : $50000 - $70000  / YEAR

Public Trust Requirement: candidates must be eligible to acquire/maintain a Treasury public trust clearance; this will require US citizenship, clean criminal background and credit 

Candidate will be responsible for:

Providing troubleshooting, problem solving and on-site technical support for all levels of end users.

Providing technical support for hardware/software computer deployments and related issues where applicable.

Supporting the roll-outs of new client equipment such as PCs, laptops, as well as, printers and docking stations.

Analyzing, troubleshooting, and supporting additional aspects of an end user computer deployment to include missing non-standard software installs, mapping end user network drives, analyzing and providing support with end user data transfers.

Required Skill Set:

Windows 7 experience

Windows 10 experience

Ability to communicate well and clearly to all levels of end users

Primary Responsibilities

Manage all End User requests for the Washington DC office

Assist the Help Desk team with incidents and requests tickets from all offices

Meet call metrics and service levels goals assigned to the Help Desk Team

Meet ticket metrics and service levels goals assigned to the Help Desk Team

Maintain, manage, and troubleshoot computer systems for performance and security related issues

Provide frontline computer troubleshooting / problem resolution

Provide computer troubleshooting / problem resolution support to remote users

Provide assistance with audio video and conference room setup and support

Coordinate and/or the set-up of data services, as well as phone, computer, and printer installation

Coordinate the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all information technology products

Coordinate and/or execute the setup of network connectivity (LAN or WLAN)

Process system and file access requests

Perform administrative duties (ordering supplies, receiving of equipment, and performing inventories)

Assist in process and documentation improvements

First responder for IT services for the Washington DC office

Provide technology usage training to employees

Participates on a rotating on call coverage

Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Associate’s degree or 2 years of college in IT related field

3-5 years of technical experience supporting hardware and software in multi-user networked environment

Must be personable, have a customer-friendly attitude and have the ability to work in a team environment

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office client applications

Strong communication skills are required

An ability to prioritize and organize work effectively

An ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

Excellent investigative and problem solving abilities

Must be self-motivated and able to work without supervision
