Partner Program Initiatives Manager, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management, partner development and/or channel sales within the business technology market.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Business Administration.
  • 10 years of experience in partner programs in an Enterprise software or Cloud company and experience with competitive partner programs.
  • Experience designing and executing large scale sales programs across multiple regions and teams.
  • Ability to assume increasing responsibility in a fast-paced environment while working with partners to achieve quick results.
  • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and drive them to successful completion, working with a wide range of stakeholders and timelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to influence at executive levels.

The Google Cloud Partnerships team is focused on accelerating the adoption of Google Cloud by attracting and growing partners who can reach new customers and make them successful. The Google Cloud Partnerships team is dedicated to delivering programs that create growth in our partners businesses. As a Partner Program Initiatives Manager, you will be responsible for designing and evolving product, channel and industry vertical initiatives to accelerate growth with the Google Cloud partner ecosystem. In this role, you will work closely with Sales, Channel Operations, Product Business Units, Channel and Field Enablement, Channel Marketing and Legal and Finance to build an excellent partner program. You will report to the Global Head of Program Design and work cross-functionally to meet business goals.

Responsibilities
  • Work cross-functionally to define product, industry and ecosystem priorities in Google Clouds go-to-market strategy.
  • Be an expert on the business and economic models of different partner types and identify and advocate for the success of our partners.
  • Work cross-functionally to design, operationalize and launch partner program offerings aligned to key strategic goals.
  • Define the set of required enablement elements (e.g., tools, resources) for specific segments of partners to build a growing business focused on Google Cloud technologies.
  • Deliver and iterate on our promise of a partner-first approach to how Google Sales teams and partners collaborate to provide an excellent customer experience.
