People Operations Coordinator

Valiant Integrated Services – Herndon, VA

Valiant is seeking a skilled People Operations Coordinator to assist the company s People Operations Team by participating in companywide initiatives, conduct research and other support as desired.


  • Submit or enter required information into HRMS as directed, process new employee transactions, compensation actions and status changes in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ensure that new employees have completed all appropriate on-boarding paperwork
  • Participate in employee activity committees as requested, plan teambuilding events as directed, provide data for employee recognition efforts, and disseminate employee communications
  • Have familiarity with policies and laws, answer employee HR related questions, participate in employee recognition efforts, and disseminate employee communications
  • Conduct new employee orientation as directed, track required annual training, facilitate annual training completion
  • Assist with open enrollment meetings and disseminate information as directed
  • Provide statistical reporting as directed
  • Maintain state, federal and local posting requirements for compliance
  • Assist in compiling data for audits and compile with safety requirements
  • Provide input as directed and ensure labor category mapping is completed as required
  • Process all employee correspondence as required
  • May be required to provide recruiting support by posting requirements, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, interviewing candidates, checking references, maintaining system requirements and making offers after approved
  • And other duties as required


  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources or a related field OR equivalent work experience
