Provide highly skilled administrative support to the College of Business Ph.D. programs in recruiting, advising support, orientation, admissions, and other administrative issues. Requires the exercise of independent judgment. Supports the PhD Program Director and six Major Field Coordinators. Other duties as assigned. Provide highly skilled administrative support to the MBA on-campus program in advising support, orientation, admissions, and other administrative issues. Requires the exercise of independent judgement. Supports the MBA On-Campus Programs Coordinator. Other duties as assigned.
Bachelors degree in Business and two (2) years of experience in a related field or the equivalent experience.
Two years of experience in an educational setting. High proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to establish effective working relationships and good customer relations with all who contact the PhD and MBA on-campus programs. Ability to organize and analyze systems to establish workable solutions to issues relating to the PhD programs and MBA on-campus administration. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Experience working with database programs. Proficient in spelling and typing with attention to detail in all correspondence and activities. Able to work with minimal supervision and work well with others. Ability to comprehend, take direction and multitask.
Proficiency with computer software, excellent communication skills, attention to detail orientated. Requires the exercise of independent judgment. Proficiency in all phases of work performed. Usual office environment. Criminal background check conducted.
