Product Marketing Program Manager

Amazon Advertising LLC – New York, NY

  • 3+ years experience in project management, operations, product marketing, product management, or product development
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related discipline
  • Excellent written communication skills and clear customer focus
  • Program and/or project management skills and fanatical attention to detail
  • Ability to build programs from program inception and design through to ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement
  • Ability to manage competing priorities

    As our business scales and moves quickly, we need a program manager to develop and own our product release and beta management programs. This role will require you to wear multiple hats to drive impact across the entire advertising business. In this role, you will manage the product beta program and go to market processes for new advertising products. You will be responsible for maintaining and communicating our beta product roadmap and supporting the release of new products that we bring to market through a form of beta testing by partnering with product marketing and product management to develop beta communications, identify beta participants, and collect customer feedback to inform future product roadmaps. This role will allow you to work cross-functionally with product managers and engineering, marketing, and sales and support teams across multiple products globally. In this role, you will bring both project management and marketing communications skills to improve and scale product go to market.

    Specific functions are as follows:
  • Develop a new beta release program and support the release of new products and features through this program, including writing advertiser-facing communications and updating marketing content as needed.
  • Serve as the beta go to market program expert, managing the global advertising beta product release process.
  • Manage and communicate the global beta product roadmap to stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Collect voice of customer feedback to inform product development
  • Invent new ways of scaling and managing the volume of beta product releases.

  • Digital advertising and advertising technology experience
  • Strong preference for experience in, and strong understanding of, search advertising and/or programmatic buying
  • Entrepreneurial spirit / ability to try different things with minimal direction
  • Quick decision-making abilities demonstrating bias for action under tight timing and pressure
  • Experience with managing product roadmaps and implementing scaled processes
