JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

ESSENTIAL DUTIES



  • Provide direction to vendors to resolve issues surrounding clarification of information on application and missing information;
  • Interprets policies and guidelines of citys certification programs and contract compliance requirements and regulations to lower level staff, contractors, business owners and departmental managers;
  • Meets with contractors and city personnel to explain EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity), CRO (Chicago Residency Ordinance) contact compliance and reporting requirements and penalties for non-compliance;
  • Conducts and oversees site visits of construction projects to monitor contract complance with, EEO and CRO guidelines, and other federal, state and local requirements;
  • Conduct close-out audits to evaluate overall contract compliance by vendors;
  • Create reports; and
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

Hours: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM

Qualifications

MIMIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelors degree in Business or Public Administration or a field of study directly related to the responsibilities of the position, plus five years of project management work experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
