QA Automation Engineer

Job Description :

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for reviewing the requirements, architecture and design documents to come up with the test strategy.
• Responsible for creating the test case documents to test the architected system end to end.
• Responsible for the execution of test cases in all areas of the system including functional, system, scaling, throughput, stress and soak testing.
• Responsible for defining the automation framework, creating the framework and automating the test cases.
• Responsible for monitoring the test coverage and reporting to the upper management for different releases.Requirements:
• 5 years+ of Software Engineering Testing experience, with at least 3+ years of experience with open source automation tools and frameworks.
• Expertise in testing object-oriented and service-oriented design, and multi-threaded services/applications.
• Experience in testing cloud architectures that include multi-tenancy, horizontal scale, micro services and RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of testing SQL and NoSQL Databases.
• Good working experience with Virtualization such as VMWare, OpenStack, KVM.
• Experience with tools such as Jenkins, GIT.
• Experience in automation using Selenium, jUnit/TestNG, Java/Python.
• Strong Python knowledge is preferred.
• Strong white box testing skills.
• Good working knowledge with network protocols, firewalls, switches is must.Education Requirements:
• Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or related
