Job Title: Quality Assurance ManagerResponsible for supporting the Quality Assurance Management in quality planning and quality system improvements to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, Customer, Government, Regulatory and Statutory requirementsManages QA based data reporting tools / database managementLead for Lean Six Sigma projects / Continual Improvement initiativesQA Process Owner ERP system: Oversees the implementation relative to QA/QC related tools, subsequent training, and usage techniques by QA/QC personnelSupports QA/QC personnel, as requested, in the development and/or revision of procedures, inspection plans, inspection methodology relative to Subtier product qualityOverall Technical Lead for QA/QC personnel. Secondary QA support individual for those QA/QC personnel directly assigned to specific programs (as requested or in their absence)Ensures the development and analysis of statistical data in support of meeting quality objectives and to obtain optimum product quality and reliabilityConfers with QA/QC personnel relative to continual improvement activities and promotes required changes in support of meeting goals and objectives established by the Quality Assurance Management / SMTMember of Material Review BoardMember of the Configuration Change BoardOversee team of engineers and technicians
Location: Woburn, MA
The Quality Assurance Manager and will provide support for Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) personnel in direct support of compliance to AS9100, contract, customer, and/or regulatory requirements.
Required Skills:BS in Engineering (related field i.e. Electronics, Mechanical, etc.) required10+ years in Quality Engineering3+ years in a management roleProficient with Microsoft Office toolsGeometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing knowledge requiredSix Sigma Black Belt required and/or Lean Quality
Desired Skills:CMM Programming experience desirableISO / AS Lead Auditor Certification desirableASQ CQE or CQM desirable
Essential Functions:Able to travel, primarily US, in support of on-site Subtier improvement activities
