Position Summary:
Performs radiology imaging and procedures. Operates radiology equipment and prepares the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure. Is able to provide care for his/her assigned patients. Maintains technical skills, is responsible for the use of equipment to minimize hazards and maximize patient safety while maintaining A.L.A.R.A. standards, and performs other duties as assigned. Secondary duties include clerical duties, receptionist, answering phones, scheduling patients, ordering supplies, stocking the department, maintaining files and general cleaning. Assist in collecting data for PI monitors and conducting QC on equipment. Adheres to the Rose Code at all times.

Qualifications


Licensure/Certification/Registration:
ARRT (R) & BLS required
Education:
Graduate of an accredited radiography program
Experience:
1 to 2 years hospital experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Critical thinking skills
Patient care skills
Degree of Supervision Required:
Under supervision of the Clinical Lead/Director of Radiology
