eVigilant, a Converged Security Solutions Company, is seeking aa Administrative Assistant to join our team. You will work in our offices in Lorton, VA

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
eVigilant, a CSS company, is seeking a friendly, organized, and self-motivated Receptionist-Admin Assistant to support the Company s administrative department. We prefer candidate with strong writing and computer skills who pays close attention to detail. The candidate should also be capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

Responsibilities to include:


  • Receives clients and visitors; maintains good public relations with clients
  • Maintaining the office supplies as well as the office appearance
  • Answering incoming phone calls and effectively routing calls and handling messages.
  • Travel Booking and tracking, verifying travel budgets and negotiating booking rates
  • Various other administrative support activities such as, scheduling, calendar monitoring, maintaining conference room and training room calendar
  • Assist in creating, maintaining, and updating records, databases, and files. Keeping files organized and up to date
  • May require occasional driving for supplies
  • Provide assistance with back office operation in support of our contracts and other administrative duties as assigned;

Technical Requirements (required and desired) Applicant should have the following qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient with MS Office products especially MS Excel, Word and Outlook;
  • Government contracting experience, preferred
  • Self-starting motivated individual who is open to new challenges
  • Possess strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and analytical skills;
  • Have strong organizational skills;
  • Multi-tasking worker with a proactive and energetic approach to problem solving;
  • Independent worker as well as a strong team player
  • Strong work ethic, embrace getting the work done , occasionally working longer hours if necessary;
  • Possess a great attitude under tight deadlines and work load

Training and Certifications (required and desired)
  • Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Must possess a valid drivers license and good driving record
  • Ability to pass a standard background check.
