Recruiting (RC) Program Manager, AWS Services, Inc. – Seattle, WA

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in an HR or Recruiting organization
  • Knowledge of program management lifecycle, and skilled at project management tools

Amazon is seeking a results-driven, influential Program Manager to lead a series of Recruiting initiatives across the AWS Recruiting Coordinator (RC) organization. As a Program Manager you will work with senior leaders across multiple business lines as well as Recruiting partners and our team to drive actions and initiatives that enable the continued growth and scalability of our hiring processes. To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate strong project management skills, analytical capabilities and be able to influence by providing data-driven recommendations. Youll need to be flexible and adapt quickly to changes in direction and be able to effectively manage conflicting priorities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects from start to finish, working through obstacles and gaining support from various stakeholders along the way
  • Review and analyze data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve RC efforts
  • Create, drive and present quarterly or annual action plans for various programs
  • Run and analyze recruiting metrics to understand opportunities within the recruiting funnel and partner with recruiting teams to implement appropriate mechanisms
  • Partner and collaborate with cross functional teams, including the Recruiting Coordinators, TA Ops Managers, Recruiting Managers, Recruiting leads, central Recruiting Services teams, and our analytics team, to leverage existing information and share best practices
  • Intimately understand and stay current with the recruiting priorities of the businesses supported and align work and prioritize accordingly with direction from a Sr. Manager

  • Experience with workforce staffing/productivity modeling
  • Vizio/Tableau/Quicksight/internal Amazon PM tools knowledge
  • Ability to influence without authority, think proactively, and function independently
  • Ability to develop quick turn-around, practical recommendations based on data and research to inform strategic decisions in a fast moving environment
  • 6+ years as a proven leader driving multi-organizational projects, from initial concept to final deliverable while successfully managing various stakeholder
  • 6+ years of experience working in a Recruiting or HR environment, driving improvements that have resulted in measurable business impact
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills, particularly in writing well-reasoned and data-driven proposals

  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment under tight deadlines
