RPA Developer

We are seeking a remote contract RPA Developer to support a client conversion from Automation Anywhere Version 11 to AA360

The successful candidate will have 4 - 5 years of Automation Anywhere experience and 8 years of overall development/automation experience, as well as knowledge of conversions and AA360.

RPA Developer is responsible for the solution design, development, and configuration process that translates RPA process requirements into functioning RPA systems and services. This role will require a strong knowledge of Robotic Automation Platform technologies (preferably Automation Anywhere), supporting technologies (i.e. XML, HTML, VBScript, .Net, SQL Server), and general SDLC processes/practices. This role should be able to work independently for core development tasks and partner with other RPA team members for sales engineering support, POCs, pilots, and customer-facing engagements.

Delivering RPA projects in partnership with business process analysts and business SMEs is the critical component of the role. The RPA Developer must be able to understand business processes, synthesize process requirements into solutions designs, and configure solutions to fully automate the business process with RPA software. Additionally, the RPA developer will be responsible for ensuring production RPA implementations operate smoothly. This will require hands-on activities such as fixes and enhancements as well as partnership and oversight of RPA support operations.

• RPA developers must have excellent analytical skills because they will be required to continually compare business process needs with the RPA software capabilities. Being detail-oriented oriented will help them manage simultaneous projects at different development stages.
