Job Description and Responsibility :



  • Organize and coach a newly formed and rapidly growing team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
  • Collaborate with internal product owners and engineering team leads to develop cohesive project strategies, including the development of project plans to ensure all phases of development, testing, acceptance, and deployment are successfully executed
  • Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders including the senior leadership team about project plans and status updates throughout the product development lifecycle; update requirements and user stories as needed per the product roadmap
  • Manage scrum meetings (grooming, sprint planning, daily scrum, retrospective) and work directly with the product owner and engineering team lead to assemble and coordinate project team members and assign individual responsibilities
  • Facilitate internal stakeholder groups using Agile and Scrum practices and be comfortable working with diverse stakeholder groups (marketing, analytics, IT, customer service, legal, operations) and roles, while influencing the process to move towards common goals
  • Collaborate with product owners and engineers to create user stories, acceptance criteria, and priorities on a regular basis; and to groom and maintain product backlogs
  • Collaborate with product owners and engineers to estimate the story points, measure the team capacities, create and maintain the software release schedules and cadence.
  • Collaborate with product owners and Director of Engineering to develop success metrics and create dashboards/reports to share with stakeholders to gain operational efficiency
  • Support the team using a servant leadership approach; lead by example and facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution without coercing or dictating work
  • Build a trusting and a safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on resolution and problem solving
  • Assist with internal communication (within Framework) and external communication (with vendors and strategic partners), improving transparency and visibility, and pro-actively sharing information
  • Support and educate product owners, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog

Preferred Qualifications and Experience :


  • Bachelors degree or higher in a related field, technical degree such as Computer Science or Information Systems preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience working with diverse stakeholders in a software company
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience working on Agile principles:
  • Scrum and SAFe
  • Scrum Master Certification
  • Experience working with Project Management tools such as Jira, Wrike etc., and content collaboration tools such as Confluence
  • Prior software development experiences as a developer, tech lead or software architect experience preferred
