About the Role

The Senior Email Marketing Specialist will develop and deliver marketing strategies to attract guests to the company website and/or app for reservations and promote products & services. This role analyzes online statistics and marketing campaigns to identify the best practice to optimize email marketing performance. It administers the development of e-marketing content and works strategically to drive growth and manage every day processes related to external email marketing needs. The role will design and implement marketing campaigns to drive sales of products or services through email campaigns. This person will demonstrate a firm entrepreneurial spirit, a can-do attitude and thrive in a fast paced, data-driven, multi-channel creative environment.

A Day in the Life

  • Manage the email program for the European Wax Center Guest.
  • Responsible for strategy and execution of all parts of the email program working, closely with senior Marketing leaders.
  • Work with our agency partners to develop email programs to highlight initiatives.
  • Continuously evolve and grow email marketing initiatives.
  • Approve all sends/automations before they are scheduled.
  • Use guest data to personalize the email experience.
  • Maintain a high-level of data hygiene for the growing email list.
  • Own email calendar, testing plans, and prioritization.
  • Manage and forge strong relationships across the full team to determine the appropriate email content, cadence, and creative executions.
  • Manage and improve all KPIs including deliverability, open rate, click rate, conversion rate, opt-out rate, revenue, as well as specific business goals around individual campaigns.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of CAN-SPAM and other email regulations across all relevant regions.
  • Provide stewardship of email acquisition/lead generation efforts.
  • Write engaging email content that tells a compelling brand story.
  • Provide thought leadership and perspective on topics such as emerging technologies, best in class email marketing, new tools and software, and desire/ability to create a best in class program.
  • Manage the Emergency & Weather-Related Closing form for the Network.
  • Provide copy writing and editing services, as needed.
  • Manage relationships with the regional email agencies, from strategy to the execution of the Network’s emails.
  • What Sets You Apart

  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing CRM marketing, marketing database and/or email marketing.
  • Proven track record of exceeding goals and reporting on performance and insights.
  • Experience with CRM/ESP integrated platforms, such as SalesForce Marketing Cloud including customer segmentation, dynamic content, and customized messaging experience.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email design.
  • Ability to utilize A/B testing as means to test, optimize, and rapidly improve a campaign.
  • Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SalesForce).
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, experience in dealing with multiple and diverse internal stakeholders, and interacting with business and technology partners.
  • Flexible and resourceful, ready to step in wherever needed.
  • Education and Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications, Digital Media, Journalism or Writing
  • 4+ years of experience in CRM, email or digital marketing
