You would work as team with our geotechnical and tunneling practice consisting of over 100 geotechnical engineers in over 15 offices in North America. As our Geotechnical Engineer you will have the opportunity to follow projects from the conceptual phase through the construction phase, working on traditional design-bid-build, with a large part of this position supporting transportation design-build projects. You must be a self-motivated individual with a minimum of 10 years of experience within Geotechnical Engineering, with a minimum of a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering (emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering) and be a registered Professional Engineer (PE). You will be expected to demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of the principles of soil and rock mechanics, geotechnical design, be able to manage other geotechnical engineers, effectively work within a multi-disciplinary team, and effectively work with design-build contractors. Your experience with design assignments in foundation engineering, dams, soil mechanics, deep foundations, earth retaining structures, and seismic will contribute to your success. The ideal candidate will have a breadth of consulting experience for the design and construction of large civil engineering projects, and the desire to grow personally as well as professionally.As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer you will perform or lead teams to:
