Senior Marketing Analytics Manager - BI/Reporting Strategy & Opt

Renowned Manhattan nonprofit specializing in neuroscience research seeks an experienced and technical Business Intelligence & Marketing Analytics Manager. You'll strategize & implement an optimal mix of data sources & analytics platforms, and create a data infrastructure to automate reporting needs. You'll leverage your technical and analytical experience to improve our marketing operations and optimize data extraction and flow for ease of reporting. Your work will impact our fundraising, development, and research strategies & programs, improve our reporting capabilities and optimize marketing attribution. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with a strong analytical & marketing background who wants to contribute across an entire organization.

Duties

  • You'll be working with stakeholders across the organization to understand business objectives and data & reporting needs, and create/optimize a responsive data infrastructure
  • You'll devize strategy to optimize our data flow, ensuring data integrity, data quality, and ease of accessibility
  • You'll add value in a creative way - leverage all data sources to come up with ways to answer questions before they are asked
  • You'll translate marketing attribution analysis, regression analysis, and other math/data heavy figures to non-technical audiences
  • You'll manage two analysts for reporting needs

 

Qualifications:

  • At least a Bachelor's in a relevant field and at least 5 Years of experience working in data science, analytics, or business intelligence with a preference for marketing data, PLUS experience with

 

  • Being a strategic leader, being able to create strategy, optimize infrastructure, and automate process while being hands-on with data & reporting
  • SQL
  • Python/R (preferred)
  • ETL
  • Tableau/Domo/Looker or other business intelligence tools
  • Web Analytics (Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics)
  • Regression Analysis
  • Attribution Modeling
  • Management/Leadership
