Senior Project Manager

AdEdge Water Technologies LLC – Duluth, GA


Summary Objective

This position reports to the Chief Technical Officer. Responsibilities include performing a variety of advanced project management and engineering tasks related to water treatment project execution. Project Management / execution of awarded water treatment projects within North America and Internationally. Responsible for managing the Scope, Schedule and Budget of the project. Lead interface with partners, owners/end users, installation contractors, and engineering & design firms. Candidate is expected to lead key larger dollar projects for AdEdge and be responsible for all project reporting and Project P&Ls.

  • Serve as the point of contact on assigned projects
  • Manage the Scope, Schedule, and Budget
  • Project Profit and Loss analysis
  • Selection and purchasing of water treatment components & equipment
  • Preparation of Change Orders as required
  • Pump, piping, tank, and component selection and sizing for treatment systems
  • Organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
  • Problem resolution and troubleshooting
  • Writing and compiling design submittals and O&M manuals.
  • Strong personal computer skills and strong knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Directing and coordinating work products with certain individuals and support staff who are contributing to the individual project

Required Education and Experience

  • B.S. degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical preferred).
  • 10+ years of relevant project management / engineering experience with direct water treatment systems and process technology relevant to AdEdge.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multi-million-dollar water construction projects involving water treatment.
  • Hands on & field experience implementing water treatment projects.
  • Excellent personal communication skills for interfacing with customers.
  • Supervisory experience managing other technical personnel.
  • Strong competence in field subcontractor interface, scheduling, estimating, and working with A/E firms.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Solid, practical experience with variety of water treatment system design and operations.
  • Strong English writing and speaking proficiency.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Professional certifications or Professional Engineering license
  • Scheduling, estimating, and procurement experience with >$ 5MM projects
  • Domestic and International project experience
  • Experience in the field with construction, startup of water or wastewater treatment systems
  • Electrical controls and instrumentation competency are a plus
  • Team building and training expertise a plus
