Day-to-day activities

Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently implement these modifications Monitor for critical incidents. Analyze and work on resolving them on priority Follow Agile methodology for software development. Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts Assist junior team members in their day-to-day tasks Writing and implementing efficient code Deploying software tools, processes, and metrics Maintaining and upgrading existing systems

Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance existing product, eventually transform to next generation product using latest technologies. Design review and improvisation of existing application features as per the customer needs and requirements. Apply best software coding and architectural practices while working on work items Follow agile software development methodology and follow various agile ceremonies Mentor juniors team members, code reviews, peer programming. Monitor existing processes and logs. Identify areas of performance tuning and plan to implement the same. Work on production issues identified from various sources like customer support, monitoring tools and dashboards and logs Handle regular deployment and Hotfix releases Experience of troubleshooting incidents with code you didn't write Contribute to process improvement both through agile retros but also by writing standards, providing actionable feedback in code reviews.

Requirements

Advanced degree in computer science or equivalent. Experience required 1-10 Years. Minimum 3+ years of software development experience, including developing, launching and operating applications hosted in the cloud. Experience with the following relevant technologies:- C#, SQL. Experience of Asp.Net web applications Experience of Telerik controls like RadGrid, RadCombobox, RadPanel etc. Strong expertise in .Net / .Net Core / Azure Cloud Platform. Sound knowledge of Service Oriented architecture, Microservice architecture Proficient in object-oriented programming concepts. Knowledge of performance tools like RedGate Ants profiler Experience Entity framework
