Evaluates, designs, documents, installs, implements, tests, performs problem isolation and resolution, monitors, tunes, and sets standards. Maintains a complex range of computer network components and systems. Performs these functions across a wide range of network facilities including physical media, protocol stacks, hubs, routers, bridges, gateways, digital servers, line drivers, telecommunications transport facilities, mainframe VTAM, NCP and related software/hardware, and network management components. Provides client consulting and training on the interfacing and use of the network facilities. Plans and coordinates major computer network initiatives. Researches, evaluates, and recommends new computer network equipment and technologies. Utilizes monitoring, performance analysis, network management, software and hardware equipment to trouble shoot and isolate problems, gauge network performance, and trace data and protocol activity. Devises solutions to complex operational problems within the capacity and operational limitations of installed equipment. Develops and executes contingency plans for network software and hardware failures including isolated and major outages. Provides internal consulting, technical guidance, information and support to application developers, computer operations, workstation support, company management and departmental clients. Assists in internal training programs. Requires Bachelors degree (in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or Math) or equivalent, and ten to twelve years of related (telecommunication analysis) experience.

Become an integral part of a diverse team in the Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group. Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission oriented Systems Admin(s), in the Hanover, MD area, with strong Customer relationships.
Develop and maintain system documentation (design diagrams, wiring diagrams, rack els, etc.)
Manage system network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, routers, etc)
Monitor and maintain product environments
Provide Tier 2/3 System support performing troubleshooting and issue resolution with system infrastructure servers, firewalls, switches, sans, etc.
Provide system administration support for Windows servers, CISCO and Dell hardware
Resolve issues of interoperability between products and other associated programs or systems
Provide guidance on architecture design to development team
Perform product deployments to various environments
Plans, evaluates, designs, and coordinates installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware elements
Knowledge of VMware v6.x (able to install/manage/update ESXi, Vcenter, virtual machines, template creation/automation)
Knowledge of Cisco hardware (Manage firewalls, switches, basic knowledge of how to work with/update os & firmware)
Knowledge of HP hardware (Gen 10 servers)
Knowledge of Antivirus (McAfee)
Knowledge of storage devices (Sans)
Knowledge of Computer hardware (install/remove, diagnose issues, update firmware)
Knowledge of Microsoft Server 2012 and above (build, manage/install applications, troubleshoot)
Knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Office, SCCM, SCOM, Wsus)
Basic knowledge of a LINUX OS (Build, update, install software)
Basic knowledge of a scripting language (vbscript, powershell) for use in automation of tasks
Ability to create documentation of processes and application installation
Available to perform on-call duties 1 week per month
