GovQA is one of the fastest growing software firms in Illinois. This role will report directly to the Chief Customer Officer.


This position is located at GovQAs corporate headquarters in Woodridge, IL. At this time, no remote candidates are being considered.


The Software Implementation Specialist is expected to develop a thorough understanding of the business operations and technologies that GovQA products support for government customers.


  • Work on a team that is delivering multiple client implementations; tasks include obtaining data inputs, configuring the system, fine-tuning the system with the client, testing, training, and supporting the client at Go Live.
  • Help create strong relationships with clients throughout each implementation that foster client retention.
  • Identify project risks and work with the team/management to create solutions to mitigate these risks.
  • Complete post-implementation tasks and customer service follow-ups.
  • Identify other GovQA applications and services that may assist the client.
  • Assist with the testing of new products and/or releases.
  • Build effective working relationships with all functional areas of WebQA.


  • Relevant college degree
  • Project Management
    • 3+ years of software implementation, customer technical support, or training experience, preferably with cloud-based, SaaS solutions.
    • Independent self-starter with excellent time management skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
    • Very strong knowledge of Online Demo platforms and MS Office tools
    • Knowledge of and experience with web technologies (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
  • Communication and Relationship Management
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Effective communicator over the phone.
    • Positive, high energy approach to work.
    • Comfortable learning new technologies and working with people at all levels of an organization.
    • Ability to be flexible, adapt to change and work on a team.
    • Thrive in a fast-paced high growth environment.
