DESCRIPTION:Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • Supervision of technical staff.
  • Provide advanced training, support and troubleshooting.
  • Review and test new technologies.
  • Respond to all service requests.
  • Use of LanSweeper, ITSM and remote desktop to provide level 2 technical support to over 4,000 DOH staff; monitoring work queues, opening, updating and closing ITSM Incidents.
  • Document the details of a user request or issue, document the diagnostic steps performed when troubleshooting the issue and assist the user with resolution using existing procedures and documentation.
  • Acts as single point of contact for users of the Department s Information Technology (IT) services and directs questions and report problems regarding services and products.
  • Installation of desktop hardware / peripherals, printers and thin clients.
  • Installation of individual software packages, as needed, for all users.
  • Use of imaging software to create custom images and expedite large equipment roll-outs.
  • Support and deployment O365 and Office 2016.

Mandatory Requirements: 

  • 60 months experience supervising and providing technical support for level 2 help desk staff. 
  • 60 months experience using LanSweeper, Remote Desktop and Active Directory, all three are required. 
  • 60 months experience troubleshooting user connectivity to file shares on centralized system such as Netapp
  • 60 Months experience resolving hardware and software issues and troubleshooting Windows 7/10 applications and OS.
    • 60 months experience configuring and installing Windows based hardware, peripherals, network printers and thin clients.
  • 60 months experience in network monitoring, permissions and troubleshooting user accounts.
  • 60 months experience working with file servers with strong understanding of Share Permissions, NTFS Permissions, Inheritance, Ownership, and adding AD security groups to folders.
  • 60 months experience managing equipment inventory. 3 4

  • 12 months experience with adding users to Active Directory groups. 3 4
