Sr Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and deploys complex systems integrations within the Guidewire Insurance Suite software configuration framework.
• Assists in architectural design recommendations and effectively present solution options for implementation with estimates.
• Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements.
• Programs and configures components including but not limited to; any configuration elements, integration points via plug-ins, messaging, and programs that call the Guidewire Edge APIs.
• Follows Company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs.
• Actively promotes and utilizes development standards, best practices, and proposes solutions to improve team productivity and/or business results.
• Assists in the training of junior team members.
• Actively participates in professional development, i.e. continuing education or self-improvement.
