About the role:
As a Senior Systems Administrator on the Network Services Team, you can help us build and maintain outstanding technology and collaborative support services. This role also has responsibility for our Microsoft System Center Service Manager (SCSM) and our Microsoft System Center Configuration Manger (SCCM) environments. This role also includes supporting and creating solutions within the 3rd party Cireson application front-ending the SCSM solution.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Provide excellent customer service by developing relationships with peers and customers
SCSM - System Center Service Manager platform (management of Incidents, Problems, Changes and Service Requests)
Assisting in project development, defining technical requirements and developing solutions related to SCSM / Cireson.
Designing and customizing SCSM/Cireson solutions
Overseeing architectural design and integration content management, workflow, collaboration, business process or other solutions within SCSM services
SCCM ? System Center Configuration Manager (Windows deskstop OS images and application deployment, patching of workstations and servers)
Base image creation and deployment
Automation of package install
Reporting of software versions and compliance of standard versions
Advanced monitoring, administration, and maintenance of SCCM
Assist and lead in the troubleshooting of SCCM Server and Client solutions from the infrastructure and application layers
Windows desktop and server patch deployment
Work with engineers to resolve any patching issues
Perform advanced monitoring, administration, maintenance, and resolution of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, Group Policies, and PowerShell
Lead technically complex process improvements
Configuration and administration of SolarWinds Monitoring Software
Participate in ?on call? coverage schedule.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information of related field or any equivalent combination of experience and education
Experience with a virtual desktop environment
Experience with Windows 10 and familiarity with the Windows 10 servicing life-cycle
Minimum of two years’ experience with Microsoft System Center Service Manager
Minimum of two years’ experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
Experience in the administration of Microsoft Core Infrastructure technologies: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies
Experience in the administration of Microsoft Client and Server Operating System technologies: Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012 R2 and greater
Experience creating PowerShell scripts
Experience in enterprise monitoring, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
Accomplished in performing and understanding baselines and native Microsoft performance counters, with the capability to interpret results from all tool sets
Excellent Communication, Presentation, Problem-solving, Analytical, and Customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented, highly motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
Cireson Portal experience
Advanced SCCM and SCSM experience
SolarWinds Configuration & Monitoring experience
ITIL Certification or demonstrated understanding
