JOB DESCRIPTION :

 

  • Design, Develop and Support the DataMarts in INFA and TERADATA Environment
  • The role will be Business as Usual in Agile mode.
  • The individual and team will not only do production support and fixes but also do enhancements and eventually add new processes into the existing ones.
  • The individual will be responsible for analyzing the requirements from business and convert them into specs and pass it on to junior resources.
  • The individual will be tasked to fine tune the Teradata queries and improve the performance.

 

Required Qualifications :

 

  • 7+ years of IT development experience required.
  • 5+ years of Teradata experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as Data Analyst - Profiling, Sampling, Impact Analysis
  • 5+ years of Informatica development experience.
  • 5+ years in Scheduling tools such as Autosys
  • 5+ years experience in the software development methodology life cycle - including business planning, data analysis, process analysis and design, business and functional requirements analysis, use case analysis, system design, development using various tools and techniques, testing, and implementation.
  • Experience with various tools such as BTEQ, MLOAD, FASTLOAD, FAST EXPORT, TPT etc. in large Data Warehouse environments is preferred.
  • Experience with Teradata performance tuning.
  • Experience in Informatica Toolset is must. Ex: Power Center Designer, Power Exchange, Workflow Manager and Workflow Monitor.
  • Should be able to develop application domain knowledge and provide subject matter expertise as needed over time.

 

Preferred Qualifications :

 

  • Agile/Scrum project experience
  • Experience in Unix Systems and writing shell scripts

 

Education:

 

  • Undergraduate or Graduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
