Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of analytical/project management experience in management consulting, in house corporate strategy and/or sales operations/strategy within the internet, media or advertising industries.
  • Project management experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, with the ability to successfully navigate and influence executive stakeholders within a complex business environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous projects under deadline.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, proven track record of building relationships with executive stakeholders.

The Go-To-Market Operations (GTM-Ops) organization ensures Google s complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting the go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. Our teams are embedded in each of the major ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members have a sense of ownership, are analytical and strategic with a pragmatic sense of getting things done. As a Strategy and Operations Manager, you re a strategic and forward-thinking individual with demonstrated influencing skills. You will be a critical thought partner to the sales leaders on key issues affecting their business including: medium- and near-term strategy, organizational design and operating model. You will collaborate closely across various functions (Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance) in defining and executing sales go-to-market plans in support of ambitious business growth goals. You ll provide business critical insights using analytics, ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and help teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a dedicated strategic thought partner advising on commercialization strategy and ensuring operational rigor.
  • Oversee management of key business operating metrics and processes.
  • Function as a business partner for cross-functional projects and initiatives, liaising across Product, Marketing, Regional Go-To-Market, Technical Support, and Sales Finance.
  • Manage the seamless execution of complex and time-critical projects by quickly understanding context and developing a prioritized approach for resolution.
  • Collect market intelligence and form perspectives on trends, industry challenges, and evolving market needs.
