Primary Responsibilities:

To analyze the procurement needs and optimize the inventory control, the company is in great need of a professional service to prepare the equipment and material procurement

planning and analysis. The candidate will perform these job duties:

  • Develop metrics for processes to be used to understand performance baselines, trends
  • and root cause analysis for defect reduction and process efficiency;
  • Analyze and document supply chain specific reporting and analytical requirements
  • utilizing standard methodologies and processes;
  • Perform standard and ad-hoc reporting and analyses to review historical information and
  • identify opportunities to influence supply chain process improvement, procurement tradeoffs, transportation service adjustments, etc.;
  • Work with sales to develop robust sales and financial forecasts as well as work with
  • suppliers to reduce inventories and delivery issues to enhance value and service;
  • Work with suppliers to reduce inventories and delivery issues to enhance value and

  • Track shipments, analyze demand and capacity reports for operations planning, and
  • execute monthly inventory plan to optimize earnings and reach business goals;
  • Review quarterly reports from the inventory supervisor, providing comments, verifying
  • technical data, specifications, and procedures applied, while monitoring key performance indicators and analyzing performance data to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiative;
  • Evaluate budget, profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the company, comparing
  • company’s financial reports with those of previous years;
  • Confer with suppliers to discuss performance metrics, provide performance feedback, or
  • discuss production forecasts or changes;
  • Deliver timely revenue reporting/forecast to senior level management as line of business
  • and product mix, including ROI/IRR analysis, sensitivity analysis, scenario analysis, and various analysis;
  • Engage in ongoing cost reduction analysis in all areas of the company to maximize the
  • operational profit;
  • Provide advice and technical assistance with cost analysis, fiscal allocation, and budget
  • preparation.
  • Work with Chinese based manufacturing vendors and U.S. based clients to develop
  • production and design standards.
  • Estimate production costs, cost saving methods, and provide quotations and BOM (Bill
  • of Material).
  • Develop master schedule for the establishment of sequence and lead time of orders
  • according to customer orders and sales forecast.
  • Review Chinese manufacturer production schedules, engineering specifications, orders,
  • and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
  • Confer with clients, vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases,
  • product and production specifications, manufacturing capabilities, or project status.
  • Coordinate activities in sourcing parts & modules.
  • Evaluate precision and accuracy of production and testing equipment and engineering
  • drawings to formulate corrective action plan.
  • Develop international master schedule plan based on production forecasts, material
  • substitutions, storage and handling facilities, and maintenance requirements.

    Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or
  • related field.
  • Proficient with computers and familiar with windows based applications.
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese Preferred
