Responsibilities: Design, develop, and support web content with blogs, RSS/News feeds, audio, video, social networking services and their associated APIs. Coordinate with business content owners and content providers, departments, and offices to provide solutions, drafting the final version for publication. Provide input and feedback to content owners and manage support on design and implementation of enriching features and technologies within the Government environment. Perform reviews and audits for websites and online content, to ensure relevant and timely information and compliance with regulations and policy. Perform maintenance, administration and enhancement of websites and web-based services. Design and implement links to other DoD websites. Identify changes necessary to upgrade websites and services. Ensure compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board Electronic and Information Technology (EIT) Accessibility Standards. Required Experience: At least 5 years Webmaster experience. Experience in web development and webmaster support. Experience deploying Microsoft Windows systems. Experience creating SharePoint pages and content utilizing basic web parts, administrating permissions and groups, updating information, creating workflows, and basic maintenance procedures. Experience performing reviews and audit actions for websites and online content to ensure compliance with regulations and policy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). Education & Certifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical field. Security Clearance: DoD Secret clearance.
