Responsibilities & Duties :

 

  • Lead finance process owners and subject matter experts through a discovery process to identify current state financial information and data sources, and determine what data will be converted to Workday. Finance functional areas include (but are not limited to) financial accounting, banking, business assets, grants, gifts/endowments, accounts receivable, accounts payable, expenses, and procurement.
  • Develop and maintain an inventory of all required data conversions, and clear documentation of each conversion’s functional and technical requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed process and work plan for gathering and documenting conversion requirements, developing and testing conversion extracts and transformations, and performing data validations.
  • Assign conversion extract and transformation work to conversion developers, monitor progress, and ensure that timelines are met.
  • Develop detailed understanding of automated conversion tools to be used on project.
  • Develop conversions in a high quality manner, using standard tool sets
  • Ensure that all conversions are documented in a clear and auditable manner, with a clear audit trail and accessible reconciliations of legacy data to Workday data.
  • Identify high value opportunities to streamline and improve the quality of converted data across all finance areas
  • Develop, document and execute detailed processes and test scenarios to validate the accuracy and quality of converted data
  • Partner closely with the Deployment Manager to sequence all data conversions on the master cut-over plan
  • Partner closely with the change management function to communicate community and end user impacts of data conversions
  • Perform other duties as required

 

Requirements:

 

  • Supporting the SAP EDI/PI/PO system functionality, assuring key business processes function within defined SLAs
  • Involve managing all accepts of the project implementation working with Ciber resources and customer resources in global implementation
  • S a subject matter expert and support train-the-trainer and other learning activities
  • Implemented include ECC, Suite on HANA Fiori, APO/SNC, BI, Ariba, and PI
  • Support the Identification of opportunities for process improvement, management control of work, or automation
  • Analyze business operations and processes to understand strengths and weaknesses
  • Receive feedback/coaching on performance from other members of the team or leadership
  • Leading Whirlpool's Integrated Supply Chain Organization in the development and deployment of solutions in support of Whirlpool's Order to Cash
  • Solving of solution gaps and implementation issues of increasing complexity and ambiguity
  • Lead individual projects within work streams
  • Execute best practices, business processes or projects in support of cross functional objectives
  • Demonstrate the following competencies: Change Management, ability to navigate through ambiguity
  • Provide recommendations on progress toward project management deliverables
  • Make recommendations based on technical capabilities
  • Identify and escalate issues and risks within project structure
  • Use general to deep knowledge to translate business requirements for design specifications Relationship Management
  • Translate ever changing business requirements into functional processes and designs
  • Develop use cases to explain/demonstrate business requirements
  • Clarify the requirements to the design and development resources
  • Managing and executing the activities associated with detailed analysis and redesign of sales & marketing business processes within HPS
