Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate AI Engineering Intern to join our team as part of your OPT (Optional Practical Training). This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in building an AI platform from the ground up, while working on meaningful, high-impact projects. You will work closely with our founding team, including engineers, data scientists, and product managers, to develop and implement AI algorithms, optimize performance, and contribute to the overall architecture of the platform.
Responsibilities:
AI Model Development: Assist in designing, developing, and implementing machine learning algorithms and AI models to solve specific business challenges.
Leveraging LLMs: Develop and refine a knowledge graph within a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) framework.
Data Processing: Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to train machine learning models.
Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize the performance of AI models, making adjustments to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
Collaborative Development: Work with cross-functional teams, including front-end and back-end engineers, to build and deploy AI-powered features.
Prototyping: Assist in creating prototypes and proof-of-concept models to demonstrate the potential of various AI technologies.
Research: Stay up to date with the latest AI and machine learning trends and research papers, and apply new techniques to enhance the platform.
Qualifications:
Pursuing or Completed a Master’s Degree in a STEM Field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering)
Strong Programming Skills: Proficient in Python and familiar with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
Knowledge of AI/ML Concepts: Understanding of fundamental AI concepts, including supervised/unsupervised learning, neural networks, natural language processing and knowledge graphs.
Experience with Data: Familiarity with data analysis and processing techniques, including data cleaning and feature engineering.
Experience using and prompting LLMs as part of data analysis or an agentic workflow.
Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
Problem Solver: Ability to work independently on complex technical problems and provide creative, effective solutions.
