About the Role:

As our Remote Video Editor, you’ll work on mission-critical projects that range from pilot training simulations to high-stakes defense communication assets. Your work will support a safer, more prepared world.

We’re looking for a technically skilled, creatively bold video editor who can transform raw footage and motion assets into polished, compelling stories that align with CAE’s brand, mission, and innovation ethos.

What You'll Do:

• Edit high-quality video content for use in simulation training, promotional material, product demos, and internal communications.

• Collaborate remotely with producers, instructional designers, engineers, and subject matter experts to understand project goals and deliver on message, tone, and timing.

• Integrate motion graphics, visual effects, and 2D/3D animations to enhance storytelling and technical clarity.

• Maintain visual consistency and quality standards across global projects, aligning with CAE’s brand guidelines.

• Optimize video output for various formats (e.g., eLearning modules, LMS, web, internal systems).

• Manage media assets, workflows, and versioning using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and cloud-based storage systems.

• Contribute creatively in concepting sessions, storyboarding, and scripting when needed.

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in training, technical, or enterprise environments.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition).

• Experience editing for both instructional/training and marketing/branding formats.

• Strong sense of narrative, pacing, and attention to detail.

• Ability to collaborate with remote teams across time zones and function independently with minimal supervision.

• Bonus if you have experience with simulation, aviation, defense, or medical visualization content.

• Working knowledge of color correction, audio sweetening, and compression for multiple delivery platforms.
