Android Developer

Responsibities:

• Translating designs and wireframes into clean, high-quality code for Android application.
• Performing unit and instrumentation tests on code.
• Designing, building, and maintaining high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code.
• Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, fixing bugs, and enhancing application performance.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and design new features.
• Helping to maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Monitoring the performance of live apps and working with optimizing them at the code level.
• Staying up-to-date with new mobile technology trends, applications, and protocols.

Qualifications:

• A strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• A working knowledge of remote data via REST and JSON.
• Familiarity with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Exceptional knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Familiarity with the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• A working knowledge of the full mobile development life cycle.
• A strong team player with a positive attitude.
