Angular / Sr UI Engineer

Location: EST Remote

Tentative 6+months contract with Extension

Positon Profile

 Job Description

• Perform product analysis and development tasks of increasingly complex nature which may require extensive research and analysis.
• Writing tested and documented JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS code
• Strong expertise in Angular JS version 8 and above
• Make design and technical decisions for Angular projects.
• Develop application code in the Angular 2 (version 8 or higher), Restful Web Services  
• Work with an agile scrum team via video/collaboration tools
• Experience with Unit Testing  
• Ability to mentor other UI engineers
• Strong understanding of ownership over deliverables and the overall process/project

Desired Skills/Experience

• Experience with UI Angular, Angular 8 and above
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or comparable work experience
• Strong expertise with HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code.
• Experience with Angular Reactive Forms development and Angular Material is a plus
• Experience with AG-Grid table components a plus.
• Good understanding of AJAX and JavaScript Dom manipulation Techniques
• Experience with RESTful services
• Convert wireframes and visual design into HTML/CSS/Angular Components
• Familiar with testing frameworks (Ex. Jasmine)
• Experience writing and/or working with .NET Core WebAPI a plus
• Knowledge of Azure functions a plus
• Test runner framework (Ex. Karma)
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
