Application Developer

Must have been in the United States for at least 3 years.

Duties:

• Participate in analysis, design, and new development of Appian based applications in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in conversion and documenting of business requirements to system requirements.
• Design and develop large-scale enterprise software applications with other Appian developers.
• Coordinate closely with other developers to ensure proper implementation of program and system specifications.
• Support data migration, loading and conversion between data stores.
• Prepare and maintain system, application and program level documentation as needed.

Required Skills

• Must have experience with anyone of the programming languages Python, JavaScript, Java, .NET, Ruby
• Must have web application development experience
• Preferred - very good understanding or experience with low-code application development platforms (Appian, PowerApps or other)
• Understanding of process models and BPMN standards.
• Conducting analysis and identifying process improvement opportunities.
• Experience working of data structures and database tables (prefer Oracle experience)
• Experience in SQL development and clear understanding of relational databases.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience in build and deployment processes.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Highly adaptable to rapidly changing environments and situations.
• Works well under pressure, effectively prioritizes work and has well-honed problem-solving skills.

Education and Years of Experience.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or other related discipline
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of work experience with web or mobile application development
• Preferred - with Appian or any other low-code application development.
• Preferred – Appian Certified Associate Developer (aka Level 1)
